Network..
Thought from the very beginning that Monogame had built in functions for networking; but I was wrong nothing good to find there, had to use something else then.
Sockets; I've already used them before and they are lovely and simple to use so I started to implement sockets into my game.
I had never done networking in a game before so this is my first time; today I added functions for one player to create a server and another to connect, I've also added so that the client player's movement is passed on to the server player's application. It's only the sever player that can see all the client players on his/hers screen while playing at the moment, but I'll continue to work on improving the network functionality later on.
Think I've come far enough already taking in consideration that I'm a father, have a daytime work and not much time for my own hobbies.
Next time I'll have images or an animated gif, maybe even a YouTube video of the game!?
Will see what the future brings, I have a YouTube video in mind but I'll wait until I have something that much to show you.
